Irving Park Home Inspection
Irving Park is located on the Northwest Side. It is bounded by the Chicago River on the east, the Milwaukee Road railroad tracks on the west, Addison Street on the south and Montrose Avenue on the north, west of Pulaski Road stretching to encompass the region between Belmont Avenue on the south and, roughly, Leland Avenue on the north. It is named after the American author Washington Irving.
Old Irving Park is bounded by Montrose Avenue, Pulaski Road, Addison Street and Cicero Avenue.
It is highly recommended that you get a complete professional home inspection done on any home that you purchase in Irving Park. The unique architecture and ornate Victorian homes may have surprises or complications that an experienced home inspector can identify in their home inspection report.
Irving Park has a variety of housing stock, with Queen Anne, Victorian, and Italianate homes, a few farmhouses and numerous bungalows.
If you are planning to attend an open house to give it a thorough inspection, don’t go in blind. There’s a whole lot you can find out about a property, either by checking it out yourself in person during the inspection or asking the on-site real estate agent (or both).

I had the opportunity to have Charles inspect my 106 year old home in Chicago. Charles was very knowledgeable about the different systems, masonry, and features or historic homes. He is realistic and helps explain why something is good or bad in the home. I would highly recommend Charles for any home inspection needs..
Thank you Greg. I did enjoy taking a long look at your home. I was a pleasure looking at that history.
